Lead Carpenter / Carpenter’s Helper – Residential Construction

Greg Lawrence Construction is hiring skilled Lead Carpenters and Carpenter’s Helpers for residential projects throughout Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties, VT. This is a hands-on role — often independent or with a small crew.

What You’ll Do:
• Perform rough & finish carpentry on interior and exterior projects
• Understand plans, measure accurately, and execute details
• Keep jobsites safe, organized, and clean
• Communicate progress and material needs clearly

Experience / Pay:
• Carpenter’s Helper: Some carpentry experience, $20–$30/hr. + paid holidays & PTO
• Lead Carpenter: 5+ years experience, $30–$40/hr. + paid holidays & PTO

Projects include additions, garages, kitchens, bathrooms, decks, siding, roofing, and new construction. Steady, long-term work with room to grow.
