Six years ago, I breathed new life into a 1989 Skeeter bass boat, transforming it back to its glory days in showroom condition.
Now, I'm on a similar journey with my 1998 Grumman stick steer, having stripped it down to the bones, overhauled the sub floor, and replaced the flotation. With the metal prepped and a fresh hex camo paint job in colors you wouldn’t expect underway, I'm excited to see this restoration project come together. This was a project for someone I’ve known since kindergarten. Their beds and mother in-laws beds needed some TLC. They are now restored to like new. I really enjoyed this project. It was in the town I grew up in. It just felt so connected. It’s great to be home.
