🥵🥵 Definitely Hot!🥵🥵 and I’m definitely thirsty!

Reminder: That grass is thirsty too! Have you noticed the change in your grass in this heat! What about your sod? 💦 Did you know watering is best effective if done in the early morning hours 3-4am (crazy right) those are the hours when sunlight and heat can’t cause excessive evaporation. Once your lawn becomes established it requires approximately 1 1/2 inches of water per week. 1/2 inch of water every other day during this heat in the summer!

Sod:
Once the lawn and soil is thoroughly wet, water 3-5 times a day so your sod never dries out! Lift the corner of the sod to determine the depth of moisture. New sod should feel spongey wet the first week!
