River Park- May 23, 2013- Height of dandelion season. This field has been treated organically for 4 full years. Fertilized with organic granular fertilizer twice a year, compost tea and composts from Purple Cow Organics, high mowing heights (thanks to The Green Team of SE WI for this), aeration, overseeding and mineral adjustments. Dandelions are few and far between in the field of play. On the periphery, there are more but they do not dominate. The turf is growing in a state of balance, with no chemicals going into the Milwaukee River or Lake Michigan. Success!
