Throwback Thursday

Project Update: CTH O, Lincoln County

A 260-cubic-yard bridge deck pour was successfully completed in just over 5 hours! This collaborative effort between Sheet Piling Services, WisDOT, Lincoln County, DAAR, and County Materials Tomahawk keeps the project on schedule and on track to reopen the road by early October.

DAAR Engineering is supporting the City of Racine’s multi-year Lead Service Line Replacement Program with construction management, inspection, and project documentation. Our team is in the field monitoring construction, documenting progress, verifying quality, and helping ensure improvements are accurately recorded.

From the Field

Work continues on the $18 million South 16th Street Bridge rehabilitation in Milwaukee. This project is transforming the historic bascule bridge into a fixed span while preserving its legacy through interpretive displays along the Hank Aaron State Trail. From structural steel repairs and new lightweight concrete decks to river improvements and enhanced pedestrian features, every phase is helping extend the bridge's service life while honoring its history.
