Concrete work continues at Foxtown Landing as crews pour the Node, a major structural element that extends part of Foxtown Landing’s shoreline over the Milwaukee River.

It’s exciting to see another major milestone take shape on this transformative project. Thank you to Hunzinger Construction Company for sharing the progress and to the entire project team, as this project moves forward.

Last night, the MKE Downtown Dog Park was honored with the 2026 Mayor’s Design Award for its positive impact on Downtown Milwaukee and the nearby neighborhoods. We’re grateful to the City of Milwaukee, Fromm Family Foods, GRAEF, and Berghammer Construction for their roles in making this project happen and helping create such a special public space.

Please join us in welcoming Luis Tejeda as a Project Specialist II at Stephen Perry Smith Architects. Luis brings a thoughtful design perspective and a passion for creating spaces that are inspiring and functional. He discovered his interest in architecture at an early age through building and experimenting with Lego sets, which evolved into a passion for shaping how people experience the built environment.
Luis enjoys working across a variety of project types and gravitates toward timeless design that balances form, function, and intentional detailing. He values the strong camaraderie at SPSA and appreciates being part of a team dedicated to creating meaningful spaces for our community. We’re excited to welcome Luis and look forward to the creativity and perspective he brings to future projects.

We’re excited to announce that The Daily Reporter named the MKE Downtown Dog Park as a Top Projects of 2025 winner, and the Milwaukee Business Journal chose it as a finalist for the Real Estate Awards.

The park serves as a lively gathering place, with separate spaces for small and large dogs, durable synthetic turf to stay clean and mud-free year-round, plenty of seating, and other useful features. Located along the Milwaukee Riverwalk District, it adds to the riverfront experience and helps bring downtown residents and visitors together.

Great to see progress continuing at Foxtown Landing. The steel framework is going up, and the project is beginning to come together.

Progress continues on a beautiful day along the Milwaukee River downtown at Foxtown Landing. Backfilling and compaction operations are moving ahead efficiently, alongside ongoing grouting of columns and joist pockets. Ironworkers are putting the finishing touches on Phase 1 decking, marking another....
