Come spend an evening on the farm creating your very own beautiful, fresh pine wreath! Whether you like to keep it simple with a gorgeous bow or go all out with ornaments, signs, and embellishments, you'll leave with a one-of-a-kind wreath. I'm always so amazed at all the beautiful wreaths!

🌲 $45 – Fresh pine wreath and handmade bow

Look what arrived on the farm today!!

Meet Dolly and her adorable silver heifer. 🐮
My dad decided to join in on the Highland cow fun and got Dolly and I get her little heifer. I finally get to keep a calf…Yay!

Dolly and baby came all the way from Hunts Highlands in Ohio. Robert and his wife have a beautiful herd of Highlands and were wonderful to work with. They were transported by Texas Trail Farms, Inc. . Corey was amazing and kept me updated the entire trip with pictures and messages. The way this whole thing came together really makes us believe it was meant to be!

I got my first Silkie egg today! Yay! 🥚🐔

Silkies are beautiful, but they’re a little high maintenance and definitely not the sharpest tools in the shed. 😂 I sure do love them, though! They each have their own little personalities.

My favorite is Little Nicky. ❤️ She hatched with curled feet and has to shuffle and use her wings to get around. I honestly wasn’t sure she would make it, but I wanted to give her a chance. She’s a little fighter who doesn’t let anything slow her down. She gets right in there with the others and is thriving!

Sometimes the greatest hearts have four legs.

I received the following story from Ollie’s amazing owner, Kristi. Ollie was the very first calf born on the farm and will always have a special place in my heart. From day one he was a sweetheart and I’m glad to know his gentle temperament and kind soul is helping others.

Kristi’s heifer, Maisy, was bred before she came to live at her farm when she was only five months old. Her little body wasn’t big enough to deliver a calf, and after a long, heartbreaking night, she was rushed 45 minutes to an equine hospital where an emergency C-section saved her life. Although her calf couldn’t be saved, Maisy spent 20 days in ICU and another 7 days recovering before she was finally able to come home.

This is where Ollie comes in….

From the moment Maisy came home, he refused to leave her side. He stayed beside her, checked on her, gently licked her, and when they had to be separated, he stood at the fence just to touch noses with her.

It’s amazing how animals seem to know exactly when someone needs a little extra love.

Thank you for loving Ollie and all of your animals so well and for sharing this story with me. I couldn’t be more proud of the sweet boy Ollie has become and can’t wait to hear more about Maisy and Ollie’s future adventures together.

Please keep sweet Maisy in your prayers as she continues to heal. ❤️

I said goodbye to Waylon, Cash, and EmmyLou today. It’s hard to see them leave but I am so happy how wonderful their new owners are. They are all going to have great homes. Cash and EmmyLou went together and Waylon was very happy going into the trailer with the great snacks his new family had…all for him.
I’m so thankful for the calves’ new families. They will be happy calves for sure.
