🚨 One of the biggest misconceptions we hear is that "cull wood" means junk wood. 🚨

❌ It doesn't.

🪵 Cull wood simply means the board doesn't meet a standard size, appearance, length, or grading requirement for a specific retail purpose. The wood itself is often exactly the same material.

Think of it this way... 🍽️

🥩 A 12-ounce center-cut filet mignon is still filet mignon if you cut it into three 4-ounce medallions.

✅ The quality didn't change.

✅ The product didn't change.

✅ Only the size changed.

🪵 Cull lumber is often the same story.

A customer may need a perfect 12-foot board, but if it has a split on one end and can only be sold as a 10-foot board, it becomes cull. A board may have a knot where someone wanted a clear piece. It may be too short, too long, too wide, too narrow, or simply not fit a standard order.
