CMP 5 has just started that the EGC (Equipment Grounding Conductor) is NEVER required to be larger, when installed in parallel, than the largest ungrounded (Hot) conductor in each individual raceway.

FYI- no substitution was provided. Basically, the IEEE representation basically (paraphrasing ) said "Just Trust Me".

There was NO public input to support that change in 250.122(F)(1)(b).
