Plants when we have hot days and no rain: 😰

It's an old tune, but we have to play it again: you can't count on rain to keep your plants hydrated! Our forecasts are largely drought-filled these days, so make sure you're following the guidelines for keeping your plants quenched.

💧 Don't over or under water! Before and after watering, use your finger to poke down at least one inch. If you find any dry soil, water more.

💧 Using a slow trickle (about the size of your finger), water shrubs and perennials for about 5 minutes and trees for 20-30 minutes.

💧 Water in the morning before the heat of the day.

Let's talk lighting! ✨ Our philosophy is it doesn't need to be lit up like a Broadway show, but focuses on safety and security! These stair lights we installed along a client's steps illuminate the steps for visibility, but are unobtrusive and shine downward to minimize light pollution -- good for birds and other animals, and your own night sky viewing!
