This past week we were happy to celebrate the opening of the brand-new Avenues for Youth headquarters and living facility.We were honored to partner with TRI-Construction, Inc. as builders on this project and are excited to see how this space will transform Minneapolis northside neighborhoods. Thank you to all the amazing partners and funders who made this dream a reality!

Executive Director Katherine Meerse of Avenues for Youth spoke with MPR News Minnesota Now host Nina Moini Nina Moini Thursday, July 30, 2026. This interview took place on the Grand Opening day of Avenues' new building for its North Minneapolis program.

What better way to mark the occasion than broadcast to Minnesota what trauma-informed design means and how Avenues will be able to expand its supportive services from 300 youth each year to 500.

A 'Par'fect day with our 'tee'rific team!

The 2026 AIA Minnesota Golf Outing was such a wonderful event to get our team out of the office and invest in those relationships that make our industry great. From architects, to engineers, to fellow contractors, we were happy to see so many out on the green this past Monday!

Last week, the team at Avenue took a moment to enjoy lunch together!

We were happy to take have a time to stop and recognize that construction is about more than schedules and hard hats, it's the communities we build during and after construction.

🎉 Meet Mikwanedun Audisookon! 🎉

This new center will provide medical, office, training, education, creative, and community spaces for the use of the indigenous community and the neighborhood.

We were honored to work as the general contractor for the Indigenous Peoples Task Force to create "an urban sanctuary where body, mind, and spirit can become whole through time-honored indigenous culture and practice." (“Mik-wane-dun Aud-i-soo-kon” means “remember our teachings” in Ojibwe.)

✨ Mary Hall Grand Opening! ✨

Our team was proud to celebrate the opening of Mary Hall last Friday with building partners, residents, community organizers, and Mayor Kaohly Her. Another amazing result of our partnership with Aeon, the remodeling of the historic Mary Hall will provide 88 units of affordable and safe housing, as well as supportive services for its residents.

Yesterday was such a wonderful showing of the community and comradery of those committed to using Minnesota's land to build value for its residents. So many amazing teams came together to achieve this celebration, we were honored to lead and sponsor this very special anniversary.
