One of the best parts of what we do is hearing directly from the families who use their sauna long after the build is complete.

We recently stopped by Brian’s beautiful lakeside property on Lake Minnie-Belle in Litchfield, Minnesota, and asked him about his experience working with Northern Steam.

Another custom Northern Steam sauna complete. 🔥

This project was designed as a hybrid between our Kota and Tuli models, combining the best features of both with several custom upgrades to create the perfect backyard retreat.

The homeowners wanted to maximize the incredible Northern Minnesota lake views, so we incorporated a large panoramic viewing window along with an additional side window to flood the hot room with natural light. We also built in an outdoor cold-water shower, making it easy to cool off between sessions and enjoy the full sauna experience.

Powered by an IKI heater with WiFi controls, this sauna delivers soft, even heat and allows the owners to preheat it from anywhere before they arrive at the lake.

Projects like this remind us why we love what we do. Watching a vision come to life and creating a space where families and friends will make memories for years to come is what Northern Steam is all about.

There’s no better way to learn about the Northern Steam experience than hearing directly from one of our customers.

In this video, Steve shares what it was like working with us from the initial consultation all the way through the final installation of his custom outdoor sauna. I asked him if he was ever skeptical throughout the process, and he said everything went smoothly from start to finish. He even joked that “you guys have sauna in your DNA.”

From coordinating the build to working alongside the landscaping crew to complete the entire backyard retreat, our goal is to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible.
