At Mystic Lake in Prior Lake, our union crews have been on top the new addition to the casino, installing a fully adhered 60-mil tan TPO system while navigating limited staging, controlled deliveries, 100% tie-off requirements and daily quality checks. The scope also includes 24-gauge prefinished steel coordinated through Central Roofing Company’s in-house sheet metal capabilities.

Most people have no idea just how extreme the conditions on a commercial roof can be. While the air temperature might be 100°F, a commercial roof can reach 160–190°F in direct sunlight.

The next time you drive by a project site and see a crew working in this kind of heat, consider giving them a wave or simply take a moment to appreciate the work they're doing.
