Swedish heritage meets modern family life in this thoughtfully designed farmhouse-style house on the Homes by Architects Tour.

Inspired by the homeowner’s Swedish heritage and the character of the original farmhouse, this multigenerational home was designed to feel warm, welcoming, and enduring. Nestled into its wooded site, the home creates a sense of retreat, even along a busy suburban corridor.

Inside, defined rooms, transom windows, and carefully scaled millwork bring character and intimacy to the home. Features include a scullery kitchen designed for baking and garden-to-table living, a dramatic three-story staircase, and a barn-like woodworking shop above the garage featuring reclaimed gymnasium flooring.

➡️ See it for yourself on the 2026 Homes by Architects Tour, coming soon on September 19 & 20! Get your tickets now at https://www.homesbyarchitects.org. Prices go up tour weekend.
