Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer here in Minnesota. 🇺🇸

Grills are firing up. Boats are coming out. Patio furniture is making its annual return from the garage.

And while we’re all enjoying the long weekend, we also want to take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who made it possible.

Meet Nate Schneider — our newest addition to the Tonka Roofing sales team! 🏠

Nate grew up in West St. Paul and headed to Winona State University, where he picked up two things: a degree and his future wife Amanda. Eleven years later, they made it official — we love a long game. ❤️💍

Before roofing, Nate spent 10 years in the cocktail world—bartending, managing, teaching classes… and winning both a statewide “Iron Bartender” competition and a national title for “The Art of the Cocktail.” Cheers to that.

Now he’s bringing that same precision, energy, and people-first approach to guiding you through your roofing project.

When he’s not working, you’ll find Nate staying active in just about any sport with a ball, at the gym, or firing up the grill for his crew. He’s all about good food, cold beer, and great company. We’re pretty excited he’s now part of ours. 🍻

🏆 Last week, Tonka Roofing traded in our work boots for dress shoes and headed to the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics luncheon. It was an inspiring room, and we were honored to be one of just 5 finalists in our category.

And honestly, grateful to be in a room with people who believe that how you do business matters as much as the business itself. 💚💙

🌴☀️ Spring break is calling… and we hope you answer.
