Are you, or someone you know, a person that would rather be outside in the summer? Can you get along fairly well with others and likes to work for someone that appreciates your hard work? If so we're looking for someone like you. You don't have to have any experience, we will fully train you and get you the certifications you need.
We are looking for one or two more employees for the 2021 summer.
It is seasonal work, and we will be busy through the first week of August 2021. If you have other obligations (school, harvest work, etc.) we can work with you on that.
HOURS: Full-time, Seasonal work. Very rarely will we work weekends. Overtime is common. I'm looking for someone to start right away.
HIRING RANGE: Employees with no prior experience will get $15/hr. I encourage everyone to take the North Dakota Certified Applicator License test is completed (an open book exam I pay for and taken as soon as you want), and then you'll move to $16/hr, still without any experience. If you do have other previous experience let's talk about that too!
WHAT EXACTLY WE DO: Our job is to provide total vegetation management (no w**ds growing on a site) or noxious w**d management (killing bad w**ds, but not the grass) for our clients. We use the booms on our trucks as much as possible (basically driving around in circles in the trucks), but also have hoses we pull and spray with. It gets hot, and isn't glamorous but I've been fortunate in that most of my employees return the following summers so it must not be all that bad. Entails lots of riding around in the trucks to and from sites.
There's a couple extra benefits in that you will get paid while driving to and from locations. I'll also get your breakfast and drinks when we stop for fuel, so lots of guys have become connoisseurs of wonderful Hot Stuff Breakfast Pizza and Breakfast Sandwiches!
LOCATION: We are based out of Minot. We will have a couple overnight trips, but during the trips both lodging and meals will be provided. Typically, we are home by dinner unless something comes up.
Minimum Qualifications:
Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and also pass random drug test if selected.
Must be 18
Must not have had a felony charge in the previous 7 years
Able to lift 50lbs.

Able to keep detailed records
Able to be on your feet a majority of the day
Valid driver's license (Does not need to be a cdl)
