The completed residence brings together dramatic geometry, expansive glazing, indoor-outdoor living, and a strong relationship to its waterfront setting.

Every project reaches a moment when months of planning become reality.

Months of design, engineering coordination, and permitting approvals have led to this moment.

Today, the auger pile rig is positioned on site, ready to begin installation of the deep foundation system. The survey flags identify the locations of the future foundation piles, the first structural elements that will support the home.

One of the things I enjoy most about architecture is that it doesn’t end with the drawings. I enjoy the construction process just as much as the design process, and it’s always rewarding to watch an idea on paper take shape as a home.

Looking forward to watching this project continue its journey from concept to completion.
