For the St. Joe County Public Library Main Library in South Bend, Indiana, it required a complete reconfiguration, a new addition, and a collaborative vision. Occupying an entire downtown block, this project illustrates what a modern library can be for its community.

Through a holistic approach—seamlessly blending architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture—this space is built to serve South Bend for generations.

There is a lot of Cardinal Pride in the office as we welcome our 2026 interns – Nadalyn & Jacob! Both have just wrapped up their third year in the Architecture program at Ball State University, and we couldn't be more excited to have their energy and talent in the studio.

We’re especially excited to have Nadalyn back for her 3rd summer in a row, and to have Jacob with us through the end of the year for a deep dive into our current projects.

Fostering the next generation of talent is a core part of our culture, and these two are off to a fantastic start. Please join us in giving them a warm welcome!

Place your bets! 🐎 We celebrated Derby Day a little early at the office this week.

Thanks to our resident Kentuckian, Philip, the kitchen was stocked with homemade Derby Pie and Mint Juleps (with mint syrup made from scratch!). We’ve all drawn our horses—now we just wait for the Run for the Roses. 🌹

This is one tasty tradition with a side of friendly competition that we look forward to each year!

As we kick off Historic Preservation Month, we’re inviting you to take a walk down memory lane right at our front door as the City of Mishawaka - Municipal Government hosts the annual Princess City Stroll.

Stop by our office on Main Street to get a peak at what our building looked like all the way back in 1911. It’s a glimpse into Mishawaka's past that you won’t want to miss!
