Throwback to the Dry Fly Apartments project in downtown Missoula 🙌

A remodel we’re proud to have been part of, bringing new life to a space right in the heart of the city. Located above the Grizzly Hackle Fly Shop, with views of the Clark Fork River, Mount Jumbo, and Mount Sentinel, this project is located central to everything that makes Missoula special.

What do you when you're a growing family in need of more space? Take the roof off and build upwards! 🏠 We balanced many goals with this remodel, allowing them to stay in the neighborhood they loved & retaining the natural charm of their home. 🏠

Our suggestion was to add a completely new second story while doing only a light remodel on the first floor. This decision to grow “up and out” allowed us to incorporate light, space, and height, giving the family more breathing room amidst very contemporary touches such as the high ceilings and exposed steel ladder to the loft.

A feature from one of our earliest projects in the Rattlesnake ... this little house in the Lower 'Snake got a full makeover.

We took a blank spec project and turned it into a home that felt cozy, practical, and ready for everyday life.

After the remodel, it went to friends with two kids which was perfect for all memories a family brings.
