This series of posts will take you through the Incep team’s entire design process.

1. Pre - Design Phase:
- Collaboration with clients to identify project goals and capture existing conditions

2. Schematic Design Phase:
- Present design solutions that address the project goals and further define the project scope
- Includes preliminary concept drawings to help visualize ideas and bring the design to life for the client

Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) are being built in Missoula and throughout the country. They are a great option for senior housing, rental income, affordable housing, or simply to have a space for visiting friends and family. ADUs are typically around 600 sf in size. We at Incep love designing a small footprint that has a big impact.

Raluca Vandergrift is the founder and creator of Incep LLC. She loves preserving the history of existing structures while enhancing and improving them for future generations. Raluca is originally from Bucharest, Romania and has also lived in Greece, Italy, NYC, and NJ. Her work in Yellowstone Nat’l Park brought her to Montana where she met her husband Peter.

Raluca graduated from Montana State University in 2009 with her Masters of Architecture. Her vision when founding Incep is based on valuing the connections she makes with her clients and learning their stories. Helping clients meet their project goals and exploring new ideas is one of the many reasons she loves designing.
