A critical milestone is complete at the Marina Bay Harbor expansion in Clear Lake Shores. Our crews poured more than 1,300 cubic yards of concrete overnight, completing the building foundation for the new boat barn.
From foundation to steel. Marina Bay Harbor is getting ready to go vertical.
A big thank you to our trade partners SRM Concrete and Ayva Construction inc. for the coordination, manpower, and ex*****on it took to get a pour of this scale across the finish line.
Now, the project is transitioning into its next major phase.
As the concrete cures, structural steel deliveries are already underway and will continue into next week. Our er****on crew will also mobilize to the site next week, bringing in the equipment and machinery needed to begin steel er****on.
That means the next time you see this project, it’s going up.
The 63,990 SF expansion will add 288 dry-storage slips to Marina Bay Harbor, expanding its capacity along the Texas Gulf Coast.
Leading the work for Anchor are Superintendent Chris Thomas in the field and Project Manager Reid Whittington, keeping the schedule, trades, and next phases moving.
Foundation complete. Steel arriving. Vertical construction up next.
