A friendly reminder from Code Enforcement: Grass over 8" is considered a nuisance according to City Ordinance.
This is a great weekend to mow!

Here are a few highlights from Chapter 26 (Nuisances) of the City Code:

- Keep grass and weeds cut below 8 inches, including ragweed and nuisance vegetation; dead weeds, grass, or brush cannot be allowed to accumulate.
- Remove yard debris promptly—piles of branches, brush, leaves, or clippings cannot remain on a property for more than 14 days.
- Do not store junk or debris in open view, including broken furniture, appliances, scrap materials, or unused building supplies visible from the street or neighboring properties.
- Trim trees and shrubs for safety, including pruning branches to at least 16 feet over streets and 10 feet over sidewalks, and remove dead or dangerous limbs.
- Maintain ditches and right‑of‑way areas adjacent to your property; mowing and clean‑up in those areas is the responsibility of the property owner or tenant.
- Trash and yard waste must be properly contained, not overflowing containers and not left at the curb except during scheduled trash pickup times.

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the nice weather we’ve been having. Considering this nice weather it’s almost that time again for your yard to be in the best condition possible and I’m just a call or text away to help do that for you.
