🙏 A Climber’s Prayer 🌲
Lord, as I leave the ground today,
steady my hands and clear my mind.
Watch over every knot I tie,
every cut I make,
and every move I make through the canopy.
Give me the wisdom to respect the tree,
the strength to handle the weight,
and the patience to never let confidence become carelessness.
Protect the crew beneath me.
Protect the family waiting for me.
And when the job gets difficult, remind me that courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s trusting my training and making the right move anyway.
I’ve climbed through more than trees in this life.
I’ve climbed through hard times, setbacks, and battles nobody could see.
So today I climb with purpose.
I climb with respect.
I climb with faith.
Lord, carry me safely to the top,
guide me through the work,
and bring me back to the ground the same way I left it—
Alive. Strong. Grateful.
Amen.
