Just something to keep an eye out for after your lawn people are finished working. No one is perfect but, a good lawn crew will try not to do this to your trees. It may seem harmless but, constant damage to the roots and/or buttress will affect the long term health of your trees.

This is not something I expected to see blooming right now. Amarilla. Often sold as a Christmas flower, It typically blooms in the spring.

This is the saddleback caterpillar. It is the larva of a very plain brown moth and, it is evil. This little creeper can ruin your day all by itself. Each spine has a pocket of venom that breaks off in your skin, on contact. The pain can last 30 mins or more than an hour, depending on how sensitive you are.
