The week of April 7 - 11 is the National Weather Service Severe Weather Preparedness week. I have scheduled a storm siren test for April 10 at 10 am central in conjunction with that. All sirens in Walworth County will be activated. This includes Akaska, Glenham, Java, Mobridge, New Evarts and Selby. If you wish to use this as an opportunity to do a tornado drill, please do so.

It is hard to think that severe weather season is upon us as we watch the snow melt, but that time of the year is here.
