Here is a roof wash with moss on the roof that I will be taking on and we will get the job done. The reason I am showing you this is to educate you on how we remove moss without destroying your shingles. First step we use a brush to sweep off the moss gently so we do not remove the gravels on the shingles. Step 2 we use a solution recommended by the shingle companies to soak the roof down with a solution that kills all the remaining moss down to its roof. This solution also cleans the dirt and black streaks you see on roofs. We do not rinse it off we let it stay on the roof so it can soaks in deep in the roots. Finally after a 3 or 4 good rain falls it will be washed off natural. The wrong way to get this job done is with a pressure washer because this would damage your roof by taring holes and removing the gravels plus your warranty on the shingles come be terminated. Dont let no one use a pressure washer on your roof. Call us so it can be done the right way or research how to videos if you want to take it on yourself. Hope this help someone. Thank for your time.
