For all my homesteading enthusiasts! I have a few Bocking 14 Comfreys available for a limited time. 🪏🪴

Bocking 14 Comfrey is a sterile variety of Comfrey, meaning it will NOT aggressively spread throughout your landscape like non-sterile varieties can. It still produces beautiful purple bell-shaped flowers that pollinators absolutely love, without the stress of unwanted seed dispersal. 💜🐝

Comfrey is an amazing perennial commonly used in permaculture systems, food forests, and homesteads due to its extremely deep taproot that helps pull up nutrients that other plants aren’t able to reach. The leaves can be chopped and dropped around vegetables, fruit trees, and flower beds as a living mulch, added to compost piles to help create rich organic matter, or soaked in water to make your own fertilizer tea.

Once established, Comfrey is very drought tolerant, produces an incredible amount of biomass each season, and returns larger every year with minimal maintenance. It can also be planted along fence lines or garden edges as a dense w**d suppressant and erosion control plant.

Gift your mom a summer full of butterflies and hummingbirds this Mother’s Day! 💛🩷🧡

‘Miss Huff’ Lantana is now available! Enjoy vibrant shades of pink, yellow, and orange blooms that last spring until frost.

A favorite among pollinators, but typically ignored by deer. It’s a beautiful, fast growing perennial that’s low-maintenance and perfect for a sunny garden.

Orders for the Zebulon Wednesday Market are now open for the week! Link is in my bio. Message me for pickup at the greenhouse if you’d like to purchase in person! 🌱

Hello! We think it’s finally time we introduce ourselves.

I’m Shelbie, this is Walt… and this is our greenhouse!

In May of 2025 I graduated from UGA with my master’s in horticulture. As I walked across that stage to receive my diploma, Walt had been growing in my belly for just 6 weeks. What started as a love for plants instantly turned into wanting to finally make my dreams come to life when my teeny baby boy arrived.

My focus is on growing healthy, well cared for plants that are ready to flourish in your garden and landscape. Whether this is your first year starting a garden or slowly adding to a space you’ve been building for years, we’re so glad you’re here!

🌱 Stay tuned for all of our plant updates and where you can find us this spring planting season!
