Back in the day when we were first married we slept in this antique double bed that had been Neil’s Great-grandfather’s. After several years of the footboard crowding Neil’s feet, we moved up to a King-sized bed & this beautiful antique bed moved up to our attic. I always loved this bed & soon after Neil started doing woodworking I asked him if he could somehow extend the headboard to make it king-sized. He said he didn’t know how he could do that. After a few years & seeing many of the projects he’s created, I asked again & said “I KNOW you can do it!” So for Christmas he gave me the re-made headboard that fits our king-sized bed. I love it! ❤️

These are a few steps in making a wood strip boat. Melanie & I built a rowing shell, but you use the same method for canoes, kayaks, or anything else. Our boat is 28ft long and weights 32lbs. I can mill strips and bead & cove the edges for you. I also can supply different woods for other parts of your boat.
