Today is a day to pause and reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day . I am incredibly grateful for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country and our freedoms.
To the families of those who served, you are in my thoughts today. I am proud to be part of a community that honors such selfless courage and remembers those who gave everything. "A hero is someone who has given their life to something bigger than themselves." — Joseph Campbell .

Happy Friday everyone! Here is a job I just finished up, a master bedroom with a 3' seam repair on the ceiling, and a bathroom. I painted the ceilings and walls on this trip. The new wall color is Sherwin-Williams Shiitake in a satin sheen. I generally try to steer away from bigger drywall repairs, but this went as smoothly as I hoped it would. Here is a job I just wrapped up. The colors are Piglet (entry) and Aloe Essence for the living room. Since they wanted a flat sheen, they went with Sherwin-Williams Emerald wall paint.
