We just finished a 7 week on site contract with an underground contractor doing some big boy work. This dig contained types A, B, and C soil, and the delineations between the soil types are clearly visible. This operator was great with his laybacks and ramps! We’ve contracted with an excavation contractor out of Mississippi on a large scale job installing MV and fiber vaults for a data center. Our underground specialist has been on site for a month now. In less than 2 weeks, we transformed a contractor that was on final warning and close to being terminated from the site for safety problems to an example that the controlling contractor now uses for other trades in how to operate safely. The crew has a new safety culture that they’ll bring with them to future jobs after this one is complete.

We offer both authorized entrant and competent person level trench and excavation safety courses, and we travel with them!

We’ve drawn the winners of the day 2 raffles! The hard hat winner was present, but he respectfully declined the announcement and photos because, well, he’s playing hookie from work today, and he’s here with resumes. 😂😂

Trade show season is upon us! We attended the USACE Louisville District open house yesterday, and we met a lot of great people there.
