Parts-per Notation

Parts-per notation is commonly used in fields like chemistry to describe the relative quantities of substances such as dissolved minerals or pollutants in water. These measurements are dimensionless ratios, indicating the amount of a substance per another amount within the same solution.

Examples:

Tank cleaning. Sometimes the tanks get stained. In this case, we pumped out litteral pounds of debris from the bottom of the tank. While there is still some discoloration, the tank is significantly cleaner which aids the pump and overall water quality being delivered to the home.
