Quality is in the details most people never see.
When our soil testing revealed a Seasonal High Water Table (SHWT) just 18 inches below existing grade, water management became a major factor in the design and construction of this home.
We’ve taken several engineered steps to protect this foundation for years to come.
One example is installing a sump crock at each corner of the foundation. Each crock has perforated sides that serve two purposes: allowing groundwater to enter and helping prevent the crock from floating or shifting when groundwater levels rise.
Each crock is also wrapped in high-quality filter fabric to prevent soil and debris from entering the system.
These are the details that often go unnoticed, but they make all the difference.
Quality isn’t just what you see. It’s what goes into everything you don’t.
