Today we celebrate 250 years of American history and the birth of the greatest experiment in freedom the world has ever known.

On July 4, 1776, our Founding Fathers declared that all people are created equal and are endowed with the unalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Over the last 250 years, our nation has endured wars, hardships, triumphs, innovation, and incredible progress—all because generations of brave Americans were willing to defend the freedoms we enjoy today.

As you gather with family and friends, fire up the grill, watch the fireworks, and make memories, take a moment to remember those who fought, sacrificed, and continue to serve so we can celebrate this day in freedom.

Running a business is not for the weak, the lazy, or the easily discouraged.

Most people see the finished product. They see the truck, the equipment, the social media posts, and the work getting done. What they don't see are the long days, the early mornings, the late nights, the stress, the sacrifices, the risks, and the countless hours spent handling problems that nobody else wants to deal with.

Business owners don't get guaranteed paychecks. We don't get paid sick days. We don't get to clock out and leave our responsibilities at work. We carry the weight of every decision, every customer, every bill, and every challenge.

There will be days when you're tired. Days when equipment breaks. Days when customers cancel. Days when nothing seems to go right. But successful business owners keep showing up anyway.
At TJ'S LAWN SERVICE LLC, we know that hard work, consistency, and determination are what separate those who talk about success from those who earn it.

I get ask all the time. "Can you cut it shorter "

NO! THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS NO!

🚨 Cutting Your Grass Shorter Does NOT Mean You Can Mow Less Often 🚨

One of the biggest lawn care myths is that cutting your grass extra short will save you time and money. In reality, it often does more harm than good.

When grass is cut too short:
🌱 It weakens the root system, making your lawn less healthy.

☀️ The soil is exposed to more sunlight, causing it to dry out faster.

🌿 Weeds have an easier time taking over because healthy grass isn't there to crowd them out.

💧 Your lawn requires more water because the shorter grass blades can't retain moisture as effectively.

🔥 It increases stress on the grass, especially during Georgia's hot summer months.

A healthy lawn should never have more than one-third of the blade removed at a time. Keeping your grass at the proper height promotes deeper roots, better drought tolerance, and a thicker, greener lawn.

Happy Memorial Day from TJ’S Lawn Service 🇺🇸

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Memorial Day is more than cookouts and a long weekend — it’s a day to reflect on the courage, service, and sacrifice of those who gave their lives protecting this country.

Memorial Day began after the Civil War as “Decoration Day,” when Americans decorated the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers to honor their memory. Over time, it became a national holiday dedicated to all military members who died in service to our nation.

It’s important because freedom is never free. The sacrifices made by these heroes gave us the opportunities and liberties we enjoy every day. Today, we pause to remember them, honor their families, and show gratitude for those who served.

Please take a moment today to remember our fallen heroes. 🇺🇸 God Bless America.
