β€œTo plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.” ~ Audrey Hepburn

A ranuncula holds the key to my heart. There is just something about this flower that I can not get enough of. So, of course, I had to try my hand at growing them.

I planted the corms in November last year. They were babied through all the freezing temps. Then, in the spring, an animal decided MY ranunculus held the key to their hunger. Yet I still held hope they would bloom.

They are small and a little damaged. THAT IS OK. Flower farming is about taking small victories when you can and learning what to do or change in the next season. Here's to believing in tomorrow.
