📢 NOW HIRING – PART-TIME COMMERCIAL CLEANER + FLOATER/PER DIEM CLEANER
Uniquely Cleaned LLP is looking for dependable and experienced commercial cleaners for a small cleaning route in the Newtown, Monroe & Shelton, CT area.
We are currently looking for:
1️⃣ REGULAR PART-TIME CLEANER
Approximately 14.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, covering the full route.
2️⃣ FLOATER / PER DIEM CLEANER
Someone dependable who can provide coverage for these locations as needed, including call-outs, vacations and other coverage needs.
💰 Pay: $18–$20/hour, based on experience
🚗 Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
🧹 All cleaning supplies and equipment are provided on-site
POTENTIAL REGULAR ROUTE SCHEDULE
Monday:
• Monroe: 5:00–8:00 AM
• Newtown: approximately 8:15–10:15 AM
Tuesday:
• Newtown: approximately 2 hours
Wednesday:
• Newtown: 7:00–9:00 AM
• Shelton: approximately 9:30–11:00 AM
Thursday:
• Newtown: approximately 2 hours
Friday:
• Newtown: approximately 2 hours
This is a potential schedule and is not locked in. There is some flexibility with morning, daytime and afternoon/evening scheduling depending on the candidate.
🧽 CLEANING RESPONSIBILITIES
HIGH FOCUS ON BATHROOMS & BREAK ROOMS/KITCHEN AREAS
Bathrooms and break rooms/kitchens are high-priority areas and must be cleaned thoroughly every time.
Duties include:
• Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors and surrounding areas
• Sweeping and mopping bathroom floors
• Thoroughly cleaning break rooms/kitchens, including countertops, sinks, tabletops and assigned surfaces
• Sweeping and mopping kitchen/break-room floors
• Vacuuming and spot vacuuming offices and assigned areas
• Emptying trash receptacles in bathrooms, offices, kitchens and common areas
• Wiping down assigned surfaces
• Following the established cleaning checklist for each location
Attention to detail in bathrooms and break rooms/kitchens is extremely important. These areas cannot be rushed or skipped.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Dependable and consistently on time
• Commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Pays close attention to detail and does not cut corners
• Able to work independently without constant supervision
• Able to follow an established cleaning checklist
• Takes pride in leaving each facility clean and presentable
• Reliable transportation between locations
• Regular cleaner must be able to consistently commit to the route
• Floater/per diem cleaner must be available for coverage as needed
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for steady part-time work, as well as someone looking to pick up additional per diem cleaning hours when available.
