BORING CREW

Underground Utilities Inc is looking for qualified personnel to work on our Horizontal Boring Crew. Previous auger boring experience is greatly preferred, but may be willing to train if applicant has comparable construction experience. When not performing boring work, position will include laboring / driving dump truck on water and sewer construction projects. Union wages and benefits along with a lucrative bonus plan. Typical schedule is 4ea 10 hour days with work year-round.

Required Credentials:
- Stick welding experience required. ODOT and/or other welding certifications preferred.
- Class A CDL

This is a 30-hour-per-week position with starting hourly pay in the low 20’s depending on experience and qualifications. Position also includes paid holidays, paid vacation, personal days, generous 401K plan contribution and a lucrative bonus plan. This position has the potential to grow into a full-time role in the future depending on circumstances and performance.

Work duties include entering payables, reconciling credit card accounts, handling insurance claims/paperwork, sales/use tax estimates, organizing and keeping subcontractor paperwork, and invoicing customers.

Underground Utilities Inc has several opportunities for employment in both North-Central and North-Western Ohio

We have immediate openings for both Laborers and Operators experienced in sewer & waterline construction. CDL license and GPS knowledge are also helpful. These are full time, permanent positions. Our crews typically work year-round on a 4ea 10 hour day work schedule with seasonal overtime as needed based on workload. In addition to union pay and benefits we offer a GENEROUS profit sharing and bonus plan and other fringe benefits.

Operator - NORTH-CENTRAL OHIO - $44-$46/hour+benefits+bonuses
Laborer - NORTH-CENTRAL OHIO - $35-$37/hour+benefits+bonuses

Underground Utilities Inc has an immediate opening for both an Excavator Operator and a Loader Operator experienced in sewer & waterline construction. GPS knowledge is also helpful. This is a full time, permanent position in the Findlay & surrounding area in northwest Ohio.

Base wage for the Excavator Operator is $41.49/hour + full benefits including profit sharing & bonus plan.

Base wage for the Loader Operator is $41.37/hour + full benefits including profit sharing & bonus plan.
