Stop Bidding Blind
There’s something nobody talks about in this industry…
You’re sitting there on a Friday night, family in the other room, and you’re buried in plans for a
$2–3M job. Crunching numbers. Calling subs. Putting hours into something you might not even
get.
And half the time… you were never going to get it.

Normalize asking this upfront:
Who else are you bidding against?
If you don’t know what you’re walking into, you’re guessing and wasting time.
Then follow it up with this:
What are you actually looking for in a builder?
Lowest price?
Most experience?
Hands-on?
Or someone who runs a tight team and delivers start to finish?
That answer tells you everything.
Stop chasing jobs that were never yours.
Stop discounting just to win.
And stop giving up nights with your family for projects that aren’t a fit.
