JMR+H Architecture was proud to attend and Support the Alabama Military Academy Alumni Association and the 200th Regiment AMA Weekend at Fort McClellan!

It was a great opportunity to spend time with members of Alabama’s military community, reconnect with familiar faces, and take part in a weekend celebrating the people, service, history, and traditions of the Alabama Military Academy.

A special part of this year’s weekend was the dedication of the newly constructed VIP Cottage as Barnes Cottage, in remembrance of COL Alton Barnes, who was instrumental in the creation and establishment of the Alabama Military Academy at Fort McClellan. COL Barnes’ leadership, vision, and commitment helped establish a lasting foundation for the Academy and generations of Alabama National Guard leaders who have followed.

The dedication of Barnes Cottage serves as a fitting tribute to his legacy and his important role in the history of the Alabama Military Academy and the Alabama Army National Guard.

We appreciate the opportunity to attend, celebrate this special dedication, and support an organization and military community with such a meaningful history at Fort McClellan.

We had an incredible time representing JMR+H at the annual Montgomery Regional Chamber Golf Tournament! ⛳️

It was a great day filled with friendly competition, networking, and plenty of laughs on the course. We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with other local businesses and be part of such a well-organized community event.
