Our family will miss you dearly Arnold Saucier.
We became friends in the middle 90's and time flew on past us. Last chuckle I got was when we came by for a visit and brought some jellies and a jar of pickled quail eggs. I had told you I didn't know how good they were because had got them from the farmers market. You said we'll handle that right then and went and got some forks plates. They were good but the high octane gas got us lol.
I remember the day you opened my account, think it was 2000, you brought me back to your office asked some questions and asked me if I was gonna pay you. I said yes sir, ill try have your money to you as soon as the job checks cleared. Money was tight back then but I held my word. It come time a couple years later to get my first major construction account and they required a reference letter to establish credit. You wrote that for me, big long half page letter. That letter was the reason I got my first account with Louisiana Materials. It was the point where I went from just a labor contractor to an actual material supplying contractor. You catapulted my career! That i will always remember and be grateful for. Over the years our friendship bonded. I thought the world of you old fart as i would say. We will miss you, and think of you often like always.
Next week your family will lay you to rest, my family will be there. Business here will be closed that day. Thank you for over two decades of friendship ❤️
Our company is heartbroken to share the passing of our President/CEO, Arnold Saucier. Arnold was a mentor to many and a true leader in the construction industry and a true friend to most anybody he knew. His loyalty and dedication to his customers shaped who we are today. He will truly be missed. We will post arrangements as soon as they are available.
