Jim Shank Plumbing was established in 2012 by James Shank (Jim) in Montgomery, IL. As the son of Frank and Donna Shank, the former owners of Shank and Sons Plumbing & Heating, Jim began his plumbing career working for the family business. In 1998, Jim joined the local plumbing apprenticeship program in order to receive his journeyman's license. During his time as an apprentice, he preformed work a

s a residential and custom home plumber. In 2006, Jim returned to the family business to use the knowledge he had gained working for others to better service the valued customers of the family business. When his parents decided to retire, Jim established his new company in Montgomery, IL to continue to serve the customers that have trusted and expected the quality of workmanship that has been available to them since 1980 from the Shank Family.

After 9 years of running the family plumbing business originally started as Shank & Sons, James Shank has decided to retire. When he decided to make this decision, he had to consider what company would best fill his shoes for his customers' needs. Although it was not easy decision, he decided on Andersen Plumbing & Heating. We know Andersen Plumbing will be there to fulfill all our customers needs in the future. Thank you to everyone for the years we spent with you.
