In general hitting metal in a log with the sawmill is not a great thing; today however I didn't mind because the soft metal didn't damage the blade, and it's going to add some incredible character to this White Oak wall paneling I'm cutting for a customer!

Montgomery Sawmill is proud to soon be entering the late 19th century with the addition of electricity!
Roughing in the various control boxes, phase converter and panels with the sparks coming next week! The goal from what I understand is to keep all the magic smoke inside the wires. If you let the magic smoke out, things stop working.
