⛔️ Beware Of Sago Palms ⛔️

Two weeks ago I was stuck by a thorn of a Sago Palm, nothing happened the first week. The second week was a different story. Started hurting where it originally stuck me and swelling, so I got
the thorn out and it only got worse. The toxins were still in there, it kept swelling it started going up my arm till it was hard to even use it. So after two trips to the Dr and got an x-ray to see if anything was still in there, they said nothing found. Finally it’s getting better with steroids,antibiotics, and Benadryl.

The thorns of the Sago palm can generate infection and irritation of skins if penetrated into the arms. Sago palm is extremely poisonous for humans and other animals including cats and dogs. Moreover, not only the thorns of the sago palm are poisonous but the shoot and seed also contain toxic substances.

The thorns are so sharp and small they go through most gloves.
