Before you decide on the type of π EV Charger for your home, you will need to understand the available options.
π Level 1 chargers: These chargers use the standard 120-volt power supply available in most homes. They can charge a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) overnight.
π Level 2 chargers: These require a 240-volt power supply and are the most common electric charging stations for homes and public charging stations. They can charge an EV overnight and PHEVs in only a few hours.
π Level 3 chargers: These are fast EV chargers capable of charging an EV up to 80% of its battery charge in 20 to 30 minutes. These level 3 chargers require a substantial amount of power, which is why they are more popular for public charging stations.
