Today Snow Bros's completed a rock bed makeover for a client in south Fargo. The beds were overgrown with w**ds. We removed all the rock and cleaned it, put new w**d barrier and replaced the rock for a final rinse. Pro tip use a pre emergent early spring and fall to help prevent w**ds.

Today the Snow Bros's team had fun!
We installed a variety of Daylilies, ornamental grass, and Barberry shrubs for Shorestone Development in south fargo. We also cleaned and washed the rocks in place using a secret tool of the trade.
This project has been in the works for sometime all the way from renderings back and forth to today when we finally got to put shovel to dirt.
Shout out to Baker Nursery for selecting the best products for us and our client.

Snow Bros's wrapped up a backyard update for a wonderful family in South Fargo. They got new rock beds and edging. A beautiful variety of plants and flowers selected by the homeowners installed. A 20 foot round patio with a 4 foot round firepit in the middle. Alot of smores eaten and ghost stories will be told here. Then to top it off fresh cut Kentucky Blue Grass sod installed throughout. Its been great working with Kristen and Josh. They have had to maintain 3 dogs without a backyard and soon everything will be back to normal for them too.

Today Snow Bros's did a flower bed update in Moorhead. She got all new metal edging w**d barrier and cedar mulch. We removed an old pine shrub to make room for the raised flower pots where her annual flower plantings will go. We will install perennials along the side with the air conditioner and a lilac tree on the point.

📢 News release: is reminding Fargo residents of The City of Fargo - Government Fargo Ordinance 11-0806 that requires property owners to maintain grass at a length not exceeding 8 inches. As trends such as “No Mow May” gain momentum each spring, residents are encouraged to maintain compliance with the local ordinance.

“We receive questions around this time each year related to ‘No Mow May,’” said Grant Larson, Environmental Health Director for FCPH. “The City of Fargo has an ordinance that requires property owners to maintain their grass, during the entire growing season, so it does not exceed 8 inches in length.”

According to the North Dakota State University Extension, foregoing mowing grass for an entire month can be damaging to lawns right before the start of summer. The FCPH Environmental Health Division is responsible for the enforcement of City of Fargo Ordinance 11-0806. Citizens concerned about tall grass and w**ds can report a complaint to FCPH by calling 701.476.6729 or by visiting FargoOne.com. The City of Fargo’s Neglected Yards webpage provides additional information about grass and w**d requirements.
