These people are entering your home, where you eat, sleep, and raise your children, to rip everything apart and rearrange it before putting it back together(hopefully) the way you expected. Does that not warrant a little more conversation, interviewing, investigation, and due diligence than simply having someone send you a paragraph and a via email?

What’s that thing they say about an ounce of prevention? That’s what researching your contractor is.

Grateful to the National Association of the Remodeling Industry for the recognition, but even more grateful for the clients and team behind these projects. Awards are nice, but they’re really just the result of a lot of planning, communication, craftsmanship, and people who care about doing things the right way.

Baseboard/trim install almost always leads to drywall repair and paint. That’s just how it goes.

If your quote doesn’t include it, ask why.
Because the last thing you want is a “great price” that grows legs later and comes back to bite you in the form of a change order.
