Fall in the North Georgia mountains never gets old. 🍂

We've been building and fixing homes up here since 1976, and this time of year still gets us. Some mornings the drive between jobs is the best part of the day.

Fifty years in, the people are still what keeps us going. Neighbors who call us back job after job. Second-home owners who trust us to look after their place from hundreds of miles away. Folks who call on a Monday with a leaky roof and need it handled now.

We do every job like we're doing it for ourselves, and we're grateful you keep letting us.

Metal or shingles? Let's settle it. 👇

This one started as a tired shingle roof. We ran new purlins right over it and topped it with red metal that's not going anywhere for a long, long time. Up here we see both every week. Metal sheds snow and lasts forever. Shingles cost less up front and some folks just like the look.

So which would YOU put on your house in the mountains? Be honest, does anybody actually like the sound of rain on a metal roof or is that just us? 🌧️
