Sawyer Landscaping is hiring a Lawn Maintenance Crew Member to join our team in Morganton, NC. We’re looking for someone dependable, hard-working, and ready to work outdoors as part of a crew.

Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, cleanup, and helping keep properties looking sharp. Experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic and good attitude matter most.

👊🏻”How far are you booked out?”
It differs throughout the year but in spring, summer and fall we are typically booked out a month or more. (This is for projects of course)

👊🏻”Can you cut my grass once a month?”
😂 unfortunately we can not cut your grass only once a month. We only offer weekly lawn maintenance- Our goal is to leave each property looking fantastic and it takes regular maintenance to do so.

👊🏻”Could you start my project next week?”
This question is similar to the first but we are very busy and that’s for good reason. To get the best you sometimes have to wait! You won’t regret it!

👊🏻”Can you cut my grass shorter?”
We primarily maintain fescue grass. Fescue doesn’t do very well in hot temperatures when cut short. We maintain most lawns through the summer months at 4” or higher.

👊🏻”Do you have trouble keeping good help?”
We have a fantastic team, and I am very thankful for all of them, but it can definitely take time to find the right people. As we grow and have a need for more and more people, hiring and firing is becoming a big part of my job.
