This week has been eventful. Installed the most fancy vent hood, we have done in a residential building. Then had to bust out the shovels and dig a trench for electrical to get a customers Mini-Split up and running for them. When we say “your comfort is our priority” we actually mean that.

Today is International Firefighters Day 👨‍🚒

All of us at Vortex Heating and Air LLC and our entire Vamily, would like to thank each and every firefighter current or retired. Without your selfless service to our communities we would not be here today!

As our thank you, starting today 5/4/26 until 9/22/26 (the last day of summer) all current or retired firefighters can get a basic annual maintenance for only $75.

That same research also suggests that there are other industries with stagnation where the markets could benefit from more companies entering into the market. Our competitors keep giving us free marketing materials. This was a scary one for sure!

Today’s adventurers took us to a 4 MONTH OLD HVAC and Water Heater install. 4 MONTHS OLD!!!!! Why am I getting a call at 9pm on a Thursday for a FOUR MONTH OLD unit, I DID NOT INSTALL. Oh because one of the “most reliable and highly recommended” contractors in my area can’t do things properly.

Welds that I assume were done by a kindergartner (my 5th grader makes better brazes), no boots on welds at evap (guess those red tags don’t mean A2L anymore), flue pipe not even attempted to be connected on the water heater, and don’t even get me started about the free hanging electrical whip or shawty welds on the 3 different sizes of copper at the condenser, improper strap on the line set, pe*******on to attic not sealed, the insulation on the copper looking like it came from the Vietnam War, and to top it off it was low on refrigerant. Not all contractors are built the same way, or whatever the saying is.

I won’t out who it was but come on now Okmulgee, YOU DESERVE BETTER. With Vortex Heating and Air LLC, we don’t leave a job half-jacked, because YOUR COMFORT IS OUR PRIORITY!!!! Late night service calls are our favorite 😍 especially when we save lives and get free material to market.

3 year old system needs replaced,huh? 💩💩💩💩😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Company came out system was low on refrigerant, “found a leak in the condenser coil, it’s unrepairable so replacement is your only option, here’s a $11.5k quote.” Calls Vortex for a free second opinion, we found the leak where a roofer sent a nail in the suction line, $560 repair estimate, approved the repair, then boom 💥 back cooling in under 2 hours. 🤯🤯🤯
