FREE FIREWOOD
If you or someone you know uses firewood to heat their home we may be able to help you for the holidays.
This wood is for anyone who needs firewood, not for anyone who sells firewood!
There are no requirements to receive wood but would prefer to help people that need it a little more.
We have some available in Morristown off Cumberland near 160.
This firewood is in log form (not split) and most is seasoned and cut so you can load it. You must load this wood yourself as there is no help available.
Take what you need but please think of others that are also in need, you can always get more later as it's available.

Cavities?
Trees can have cavities.

This large cavity was 60' up in a maple tree canopy and supported 30 more feet of branch. This same leader has a larger cavity 20' below where this cavity was.
Our Arborist discussed the removal of this top cavity with the homeowner at the initial consultation during the inspection of her trees. We agreed that a weight reduction was necessary to remove the cavity and risk of failure.
