This is so true! We have customers complaining and I get they've been here forever but at some point a business has to raise prices to keep afloat in today's world. Its a dilemma we are currently stuck in unfortunately 😔. We dont want to loose anyone but we cant run on feelings and good deeds. How to make a middle ground for all has been today's question.

2023 AAU PROGRAM

March 20th, 2023

Dear Fellow Business Owner,
The Vermont Hoopsters AAU Basketball program is a non-profit, 501c3 program that serves athletes from around northern Vermont. This year will be our 25th year as an AAU program. Every year, we look to build athleticism, character and leadership skills through all of our student athletes. This year, we are fielding four teams: boys grades 3/4 , girls grades 5/6, boys grade 7/8, and high school boys. We have won six State Championships and two second place finished in nine years, along with multiple trips to Nationals in Orlando Florida and Norfolk Virginia.
Our AAU teams will be traveling across New England from March until May, competing against some of the best teams in the country. The cost for us to travel and participate is great. To offset costs, we host our own basketball tournament which will take place April 15th-16th. Dozens of teams from Vermont and surrounding states attend our annual event which also brings many into our community supporting local businesses.
We are looking to see if you would be willing to donate items towards our concession tables or make a monetary contribution. We will also provide a donation letter for tax purposes because we are a 501c3. We are looking for bottled water, sports drinks, snacks, fruit, candy, granola bars, etc.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us or the parent representative working with you. We appreciate anything that you can donate to us.

Sincerely,
Heather Perkins and Kiah Palumbo
